Sidell

The village of Sidell was founded as a farming town, and had a population of 626 as of the 2000 census. Sidell is a bedroom community to Danville.

Sidell is located approximately 130 miles south of Chicago, 35 miles east of Champaign-Urbana (home to the University of Illinois), and 100 miles west of Indianapolis, Indiana. Students in Sidell attend Jamaica schools.
